Work on I-10 east of Tucson next week
Interstate 10 will be narrowed to one lane in both directions from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. daily beginning Monday, April 14, to Friday, April 18, near Marsh Station Road, east of Tucson between mileposts 288-291, for guardrail work.
One lane will remain open at all times during the daily work.
The work is part of a $17.2 million project to separate east– and westbound lanes of I-10 by constructing new alignments in each direction. The project, which is nearing completion, included construction of new bridges spanning Cienega Creek.
ADOT advises drivers to proceed through the work zone with caution, slow down, and be alert for construction equipment and personnel.
